Introduction
Intelli-Blinds Electric Roller Kit is a perfect solution to DIY your own electric roller blinds. All our kits are easily adjusted to your window width and include everything to get you going.
Our basic kit includes the roller tube, motor and fixing brackets only. To make it work you need to decide how it is to be controlled.
If your an expert and are going to connect the kits to a home or building automation system then you need only purchase the blind only options.
If you simply want a remote controlled electric roller blind then you should choose Control Option 2 below. |

Custom Made Size
The measurement shown below in the ordering section allows you to choose a width between 700mm and 2500mm. This is the final complete blind width in millimeters including the brackets.
To work out what size you'll need for your window simply measure the reveal and take off 5mm and select the nearest size. So for example if your window reveal is 1342mm wide you should select the 1335 size. Typically a finished blind is around 5-15mm less than the reveal. Note to take into account any obstruction in the window eg skirting boards, dado rails etc.
You should also check measure the window at the top and bottom as window reveals are rarely square, if your window does taper then you should use the smaller of the sizes. |

Control Option 1: No Controls (Home Automation)
If you have home or building automation installed then you probably do not need to purchase any controls from us.
The Intelli-Blinds DY35S (Standard) Motor can be connected to any automation system that can operate 240v 50Hz AC Bi-Directional Motors. It is supplied un-terminated with 1.2 meters of cable. Please see the following document for more information.
Systems like Lutron Homeworks, Crestron, Rako, KNX, Control-4 and many many others are able to accomodate these blinds with appropriate relays from your automation system manufacturer.
Note: The Intelli-Blinds DY35S (Standard) motor will need to be installed by a qualified electrcian. |
